AMS Flight is a worldwide operating company, the EASA authority certified design organization and a longtime manufacturer of composite aircraft. It is engaged in the development, manufacturing and service and in this cooperates with partner companies.

 

AMS Flight is the sole and exclusive successor of the company ELAN Flight, which manufactured gliders in collaboration with Glaser Dirks GmbH for 20 years. So the roots of AMS Flight factory reach back to the year 1978 and since that time they were manufactured nearly 1,200 composite gliders. The named companies developed and manufactured the following sailplanes and motorized gliders: DG-100/101 ELAN, DG-300/303 ELAN, DG-500/505 ELAN, DG-1000 AMS, Apis, Bee, Magnus, LS-4b and Carat A.

 

Those experiences result that AMS Flight possesses and uses at his activities a large volume of know-how, knowledge and engineering solutions of technique and technology.

 

Today, the high performances touring motorglider Carat A is produced in series. Carat A of AMS Flight was designed in Germany for economical motor flying over long distances and for impressive standard class glider soaring performances, as “two in one”.

 

In addition to the Carat, AMS Flight is focused on developments and utilization services for new airplanes, new technologies and for different improvements on the already flying aircraft.
